Demand Supply Planner

Coordinate with various departments, including sales, marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure that supply meets demand effectively.

Job Duties:

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to incorporate promotional plans, market intelligence, and new product introductions into the forecast.
Utilize advanced forecasting tools and methodologies to improve forecast accuracy.
Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and avoiding stockouts.
Monitor inventory levels, analyze inventory turnover rates, and recommend adjustments to inventory policies and practices.
Conduct regular inventory reviews and audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Create and maintain supply plans to ensure the timely availability of products.
Coordinate with suppliers, production teams, and logistics to align supply with demand.
Manage the procurement process to ensure materials and products are sourced efficiently.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, service levels, and customer satisfaction.
Analyze variances between forecasts and actual demand, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare and present regular reports and updates to management.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, production, and logistics, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Facilitate demand and supply review meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
Serve as a key point of contact for demand planning-related inquiries and issues.

Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or accounting is preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in demand and supply planning, preferably in the FMCG sector
Good Command in English and Arabic
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in demand planning software
Adaptability and flexibility
